Culinary tradition

The Mayenne together with the Sarthe make up old province of Maine. The local food which subtly combines influences from Normandy in the North, Brittany in the West and Angers in the South, is a legacy from long family and country traditions.

Talented chefs draw their inspiration from these traditional recipes but also staying in touch with new trends in French cuisine.
